Amri Assembly Election Results 2026 Highligts: BJP Habbey Teron wins Amri seat by over of 23900 votes
Habbey Teron (Bharatiya Janata Party), Bikram Hanse (Independent/APHLC), and Wilson Terang (Independent) are the key candidates contesting from Amri (ST) in Assam's 2026 Assembly Election. Votes cast across this constituency are now being counted, and early trends from each round are being closely monitored.Amri is a newly created Scheduled Tribe (ST) reserved constituency under the Diphu Lok Sabha segment. As a seat formed during the 2023 delimitation process, it has no prior Assembly election record in its current form. The results on May 4 will establish the first-ever historical winner, margin, and turnout benchmark, serving as the foundation for how this seat is understood in all future Assam elections.
