Asked about the claims of DMK chief M Karunanidhi that the party would have an advantage if there is a four-cornered fight in the elections, Anbumani said he could only feel sorry for his comments as a lot of things are happening without his knowledge in the party.
Trichy: The Congress has realised the true colours of the DMK and its state leaders have rushed to the high command to convey it to them, said PMK chief ministerial candidate Anbumani Ramadoss in Trichy when asked to respond to reports of a possible rift in the DMK-Congress coalition and that the Congress may go it alone in the election.
Asked about the claims of DMK chief M Karunanidhi that the party would have an advantage if there is a four-cornered fight in the elections, Anbumani said he could only feel sorry for his comments as a lot of things are happening without his knowledge in the party.

Anbumani denied holding talks with the BJP for forming a coalition and said he was not bargaining with any political party. There were media reports of political parties bargaining for a coalition for Rs 500 crore, Rs 1,000 crore and even Rs 1,500 crore, but coalition is not our priority, he said.
About 82 per cent of the youth were in favour of a change in the state. We believe in the youth and they would count on us in the assembly election, said Anbumani.
Calling for decent and development politics focusing on progress, Anbumani said political parties should refrain from individual criticism.
Supporting the demand for making Trichy the second capital of the state, Anbumani said the possibility would be considered, especially for specific departments like agriculture, if the PMK comes to power.
Tamil Nadu will be divided into 5-6 zones for better administration and people need not come to Chennai for ensuring basic services of the state government.
He said essential needs of the city would be given due focus, which includes long pending issue of a central bus stand for Trichy, congestion in the Gandhi Market, service road in NH 67 from Palpannai to Thuvakudi, IT park and a special economic zone and revival of small and medium scale industries.
