Bihar Police Constable Operator recruitment notification 2026: The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has issued the Bihar Police Constable (Operator) Notification 2026 for recruitment in the Bihar Police Radio (Technical) Cadre. A total of 993 vacancies have been announced under Advertisement No. 02/2026. Eligibility criteria and application processCandidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) in the Science stream or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Applicants from General and other categories must secure at least 50 per cent marks, while SC and ST candidates require a minimum of 45 per cent.The age limit for Unreserved category candidates is 18 to 25 years as on August 1, 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.The application fee is Rs. 100 for all categories and must be paid online through BHIM UPI, net banking or debit cards.Bihar Police Constable Operator recruitment notification 2026: Selection process and exam patternThe recruitment process will include three stages: written examination, physical test and document verification.The written examination will consist of 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks, with a duration of two hours. A negative marking of 0.25 marks will apply for each incorrect answer. The paper will be set at Intermediate level and will cover General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, with 25 questions from each section.Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test, which includes running, high jump and shot put. Physical standards such as height, chest measurements for male candidates, and minimum weight of 48 kg for female candidates will be verified. Document verification will be conducted alongside the physical stage. Salary and service conditionsSelected candidates will be appointed at Pay Level 3 with a salary ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month. Additional allowances and benefits will be provided as per Bihar Police service rules. The job location will be within Bihar.
