Decentralisation driving statewide growth in AP, says Rammohan Naidu

Visakhapatnam: Union minister for civil aviation, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, stated that Andhra Pradesh is showcasing its strength to the world. AP has statewide development through decentralisation, and North Andhra is undergoing significant transformation, becoming more integrated with the rest of the state.While addressing the gathering at the Swarnandhra Pradesh conference themed "Stability, Competitiveness, and Future-Ready Andhra Pradesh", organised by the CII on Saturday, he emphasised the vital role of the transportation system in changing the development direction, noting that many Western countries have developed using this formula. With the development of national highways, ports, and airports, southern states are progressing further. The state is currently adopting a decentralised development approach, developing strengths regionally from Srikakulam to Anantapur.The Union minister said that the state is showcasing its strength to the world, and with the drone revolution dominating globally. In addition to establishing new airports, the state is also developing the existing 14 airports. The goal is to have an airport within two hours' distance for everyone, and new constructions are being undertaken with this objective. Ports are being developed from Srikakulam to Nellore.Rammohan Naidu announced that soon, the face of North Andhra will change with the development of Bhogapuram, Mulapeta Port, Mittal Steel Plant, Google, and branded hotels, with CII playing a crucial role.He stated that his department is preparing to inaugurate an airport every 50 days, and 1,700 aircraft will be needed in the future, which will be achieved in the next 16 years. Chandrababu Naidu's vision for Swarnandhra 2047 has all favourable conditions, and his strong steps towards this goal should become a lesson for today's generation.Under the leadership of Nara Lokesh, the IT sector is transforming the state's development direction, and Lokesh is moving forward with the "Speed of Doing Business" concept.
