Vijayawada: City student G Krishna Praneeth achieved the first rank in the all-India CA final examinations held in November 2019. Praneeth, who was born in Bapatla in Guntur district, completed his education in Vijayawada.
Praneeth said that he was happy to clear the CA final examination in the first attempt, that too with top rank. “It is a dream come true for me.

I never expected this result. My father Madhusudan Rao works in an automobile shop and my mother is a housewife. My hard work and the continuous guidance of my principal auditor Rama Mohana Rao helped me achieve this success,” Praneeth said.
“I secured 78% marks in CPT and 69% in IPCC, both in the first attempt. I did my articleship at M.N Rao associates and prepared for more than nine months to crack CA final exam,” Praneeth added.
Praneeth’s guru, Rama Mohana Rao, a principal auditor, said that he was happy with the success of his student. “Praneeth is the first to achieve all-India first rank in CA final from coastal Andhra region after NJ Yeswswi from Tenalai in 1970. Praneeth always tried to learn from his mistakes. He is a real inspiration for the CA students. I can proudly say that social background is not a barrier for achieving success in CA,” Mohana Rao said, beaming with pride.
“Discipline, commitment and sincere hard work needed to crack CA final in first attempt. My student made proud with his success today,’ he added.
Another one of Mohana Rao’s students, V Anjaneya Vara Prasad from the city, achieved the all-India 46 rank in the CA final.
