CBSE results: Girls shine with nine in city’s Top 10
Vadodara: Girls outdid boys in the city as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results of its Class 10 and Class 12 exams on Tuesday. Of the ten toppers in the city, nine were girls. In the Class 10 exam, Vadrevu Surya Chandaraj, a student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Vadodara, topped with 99.6%. He was the only exception. From his school, Sakshi Priya, a girl student, also scored 99.6%. In all three Clas 12 streams — science, commerce and humanities — girls topped. Dhruvi Parikh from Anand Vidya Vihar (AVV) and Naqiya Samir Kacheriwala from New Era Senior Secondary School (NESSS) topped the science stream with 97.8%. In the commerce stream, four girls — Yashika Yadav and Vidhi Pahilwani from Bright Day School's CBSE unit at Vasna-Bhaili, Jahnvi Rohit Nuwal from DPS, Harni, and Heer Sangani from Navrachana International School, Vadodara (NISV), topped with 97.2%. In the humanities stream, two girls from Navrachana School, Sama — Archita Bhavsar and Dikita Panchal — topped with 99%. Most school toppers were also girls. At DR Amin Memorial School, three students — Kalista Joshi, Kavya Mittal and Shrinidhi Mundra — topped the commerce stream scoring 92.6%, while Dhruvina Gohil topped science with 91.4%.
In Class 10, Karan Adhiya topped the school with 97.8%. At DPS, Vadodara, Smera Patel topped science with 97.4%, Jesal Purohit and Shrenik Shitalvaidya topped commerce with 97%, while Aparna Ningoo topped humanities with 95.6%. At DPS, Harni, Kush Agrawal topped the science stream with a score of 96.4%, while Avani Patidar and Yashika Vazirani led the humanities stream with 97.8%. In Class 10, Shreyoshi Ghosh and Sohan Maiti secured 98.8%. At AVV, Yesha Khilnani topped in humanities by securing 98.6%, Dharav Doshi topped commerce with 92.2%, while Misri Patel topped in class 10 with 99%. At NESSS, Mahee Shah topped humanities with 97.6%, while Aaryan Shah topped commerce with 96.4%. At NISV, Aarna Panchal topped humanities with 94.40%, Shriya Prasad topped science with 91.80%, and Nabhya Goenka topped Class 10 with 98%. At Navrachana School, Sama, Shubham Prasad topped science with 96.6%, Siddharth Agrawal commerce with 96.2%, while Shipra Pradeep topped Class 10 with 98.6%. At Navrachana Vidyani Vidyalaya, Shivala Patel topped science with 92%, Aayush Patel commerce with 96.2%, while Riddhima Hande and Vanshi Lalpurwala topped humanities securing 94.6%. In Class 10, Janhavi Atodaria topped with 97.3%. At Bright's Vasna-Bhaili unit, Urja Soni topped Class 10 with 98.2%, Janvi Joshi topped humanities with 94.6%, while Siddhant Gautam topped science with 97.6%. At Bright's CBSE unit in Harni, Svarna Shukla topped Class 10 with 96.2%, while Husena Vahora topped science with 96.8% at the school's unit near Gada Circle. At the BRG Group-managed Urmi School, Riddhi Shah, who scored 93.8%, topped science, Divya Parmar, who scored 94%, topped commerce, while Anushka Aggarwal topped in humanities by scoring 89.4%. In Class 10, Misha Vaidya topped with 93.17%. At Gujarat Public School (GPS), Kiran Dahiya topped science with 97.2%, Laksh Surana commerce with 95.2%, and Jiya Pandey topped humanities with 90.8%. Shreosee Roy topped Class 10 with 97.2%. At GPS Chhani, Aaditya Acharya topped science with 95.6%, while Sanya Rai topped Class 10 with 92.2%. At Podar International School, Eesha Botla topped in Class 10 with 98%, while Vritika Makwana topped in Class 12 (science) with 90.6%. At Podar World School, Sherkhi, Prisha Samal topped in class 10 with 98.6% while Smit Sindha topped science in class 12 with 94%.At Cygnus World School, Prachi Shah, Vishwam Bhatt and Manan Jain topped in humanities, science, and commerce streams by scoring 95.8%, 93.6% and 95.6% respectively. Aarohi Joshi topped Class 10 with 97.2%. At Green Valley High School, Abhishek Kumar topped science with 96.8%, while Priyanshi Patel topped commerce with 89%.
