Vadodara: A 68-year-old woman suffering from severe respiratory distress was airlifted from Vadodara to Mumbai through the 108 Air Ambulance Service for specialised treatment, officials said.
The patient, Hinaben Thakkar, was undergoing treatment at Bhailal Amin Hospital in Vadodara when she developed serious breathing complications related to asthma. Considering her critical condition, doctors advised shifting her to a higher medical facility in Mumbai.
Following the recommendation of doctors, she was transported to Reliance Hospital in Mumbai through the air ambulance service to ensure quick and safe transfer.
Officials said the air ambulance was equipped with life-saving equipment and advanced medical support systems.
