Surviving pandemic via aqua culture

Thiruvananthapuram: The Department of Aquatic Biology and Fisheries of Kerala University is organizing a national webinar on the topic “Surviving the Pandemic through Aquaculture: The Kerala Experience”.
The webinar will be inaugurated on Thursday by vice-chancellor of Kufos, Riji John. professor and head of the department Biju Kumar a, pro-vice chancellor P P Ajayakumar, syndicate member S Nazeeb, department of fisheries additional director S Sreelu, researcher’s union secretary Vishnuraj R S and organizing secretary Pramod Kiran R B will be also present at the inaugural function.The session by farmers will be conducted on the second day. The two-day webinar aims at strengthening the sector by examining the strategies and flaws on the basis of the previous agricultural year. The webinar will incorporate a technical session by various scholars and an experience sharing session by farmers. It will be conducted through Zoom platform.
