Awareness run against tobacco

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former track queens and other athletes led a ''Run for life'' to observe the World Tobacco Free Day here on Friday.
Joining the adolescents and youth with a message to "choose life, not tobacco" were P T Usha, Shiny Wilson, M D Valsamma, T C Yohannan, I M Vijayan, Suresh Babu and Paul Anchery.
The run, organised by the Health Action by People, Trivandrum Press Club, and Nehru Yuva Kendra was flagged off at the Martyrs'' Column by the Parliamentary Affairs Minister M M Hassan.Scores of media persons joined the run.
