Govt sanctions 168 crore for Hazaribag ring road

Hazaribag: The state government has provided Rs 168 crore for construction of a ring road with a view to ease traffic snarls and improve the traffic system in Hazaribag.
This project was put up for clearance in the district planning committee meeting held here on Tuesday which was presided over by state HRD minister Baijnath Ram.
Deputy commissioner Manish Ranjan urged the SDO and circle officers to see that minimum number of people were displaced in the rural areas for the construction of the ring road that would connect the town with the national highways passing through the district.He also directed the officials and the engineers to see that minimum families were displaced.
