Chatra acid attack victim to be airlifted to Delhi

Ranchi: Chief minister Hemant Soren on Tuesday directed Chatra district administration to airlift an acid attack victim to Delhi for specialised treatment.
The man, in early 20s, attacked the minor with acid on August 5 after she spurned his overtures. She has been battling for life at Rims.
Chatra DC Abu Imran said the culprit was arrested and the case is being fast-tracked.“We issued Rs 1 lakh cheque to her family members as initial assistance.”
The CM said the state government would bear her treatment cost. Earlier, health minister visited her. TNN
