Two siblings die as SUV rams car on Rajkot-Morbi highway
Rajkot: A three-year-old boy Moksh Koli and his nine-month-old cousin Shreya Koli were killed when a speeding SUV hit a car on the Rajkot-Morbi highway on Jan 14.The accident occurred on the road leading to Bedi Vachhkapar village.

In the complaint, Shreya's father Anil, a resident of Wankaner and a transporter by profession, told police that relatives from his wife's side had come to their home to celebrate Uttaryan. Among them were his brother-in-law Ajay and his son Moksh.After the celebrations, at around 11.30pm, Anil was dropping his relatives at Bedi village. While crossing the road, their car was hit by an SUV travelling from Rajkot towards Morbi, resulting in serious injuries to the occupants.The injured were rushed to Rajkot Civil Hospital in a 108 ambulance service, where doctors declared Shreya and Moksh dead.Anil's wife Harsha, his brother-in-law Ajay, sister-in-law Krishna and another relative sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment. A case has been registered at Kuvadva Road police station against the driver of a Scorpio car under Sections 106(1), 281 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and relevant provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
