Decomposed bodies of six-year-old, father found in stream

Rajkot: Decomposed bodies of a six-year-old boy and his 27-year-old father, who were missing since Jan 16, were found from a stream located behind a dam near Khokhari village in Paddhari taluka of Rajkot district on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Arun Davar and his father Rajesh. The Davar family, natives of Madhya Pradesh, had been living in Khokhari village for a long time and were working as farm labourers.On Jan 16, Rajesh left the farm along with Arun, and the same day, he reportedly had an argument with his wife, Renu. When they did not return by evening, she informed the police.Police suspect that Arun may have drowned while bathing, and Rajesh drowned while trying to save him. However, they are also investigating whether the incident was accidental or a case of suicide. They said the exact cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report.
