Couple caught last year too

Rajkot: Ashish Maradia and his wife Alpa were arrested in October last year for allegedly blackmailing a Morbi-based businessman by luring him into a physical relationship with a woman. In this case, Rajkot Taluka police station's assistant sub-inspector Trusha Guha and two GRD jawans were also allegedly involved. In connivance with the couple, they had raided the place where the businessman was called and the five had demanded Rs 20 lakh from him, said K J Makwana, inspector, Mahila police station.TNN
