Raipur: Water supply in some areas to be affected on Wednesday

RAIPUR: Due to the shifting of power supply lines at Ravanbhatha ground of the Chhattisgarh capital Raipur as part of a stadium project, water supply from 36 overhead tanks will be affected for three hours from 12 pm to 3 pm on Wednesday.
Chhattisgarh state power distribution company limited will carry out the shifting work. It will partially affect the water supply to some areas in the evening.
Overhead tanks of Dangania, Ganj, Gudhiyari, Rajendra Nagar, Telibandha, Shankar Nagar Khamtrai, Bhanpuri, Idgahmatha Old Tank, Shyam Nagar, Bhathagaon, Changorabhatha, Kushalpur, DD Nagar, Idgahbhatha, Sarona, Tatibandh, Kota, Kabir Nagar, Jarwai, Gogaon, Mathpuraina, Lalpur, Amlidih, Avanti Vihar, Mandi, Mowa, Saddu, Swamp Seoni, Ramnagar, Kachana, Amaseoni, Devpuri, Boriyakhurd, Jora and Bhanpuri new overhead tanks will not get their full quota of water from 80 MLD and 150 MLD plants, resulting in partial impact on the water supply on Wednesday evening.
However, water supply to aforesaid areas will be regularized from Thursday morning.
