Chhattisgarh: Orange alert issued for Bastar, heavy rain likely

RAIPUR: After a break, the rains system has returned, bringing back the possibility of heavy rains in the Bastar and Durg divisions of Chhattisgarh.
An orange alert was issued for Saturday in the Bastar division comprising Bastar, Dantewada, Bijapur, Sukma, Kondagaon, Kanker, and Narayanpur. A yellow alert was issued for Friday in the same areas, said Meteorological department scientist H P Chandra.
