Jipmer outpatient department to remain closed on Nov 27

PUDUCHERRY: The outpatient department (OPD) in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) here will remain closed on November 27 (Monday) on account of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak, the first of 10 Sikh gurus.
Guru Nanak’s birth anniversary is a central government holiday.
The institute requested the patients not to go to the OPD on Monday.
However, emergency services would function without any interruption, said a release from the institute.
