Union ministers slam CM Nitish

Union Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey criticized Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for skipping the railway function and predicted his "political end". Choubey accused Nitish of being associated with "destructive forces" and claimed that he had nothing to do with the development of the country and the state. Choubey also alleged that Nitish's conduct disqualified him from being a CM candidate, let alone an opposition PM candidate. Another Union Minister, Giriraj Singh, questioned Nitish's prime ministerial ambitions, stating that he was not even accepted as the opposition bloc's convener. State BJP president Samrat Choudhary demanded to know when Nitish would be declared the opposition's PM candidate and criticized the law and order situation and corruption in the state.

1x1 polls
He alleged that Nitish had nothing to do with the development of the country and the state now.
"Leave aside becoming the opposition's PM candidate, he can't even become the CM candidate for his conduct," Choubey told reporters. He alleged the CM began hating development right since he joined the group of "destructive forces" and predicted his political disaster in the upcoming polls.
"Opposition INDIA bloc will be doomed in the next Lok Sabha polls and PM Narendra Modi will be back to power with the people's blessings once again," said Choubey, who holds multiple portfolios like consumer affairs, food and public distribution and environment, forest & climate change. He charged Nitish with insulting the 'Sanatan Dharma'.
Another Union minister, Giriraj Singh ridiculed Nitish for nursing prime ministerial ambitions while he was not even made the opposition bloc's convener. "How can he nurse big dream when the INDIA bloc hasn't even accepted him as a leader?" the BJP minister asked on Sunday.
State BJP president Samrat Choudhary asked Nitish to reveal when he would be declared the opposition's PM candidate. "He had dumped the NDA in the hope of becoming the PM candidate, but what happened to his dream now? When he will be declared as the opposition's PM candidate," Choudhary asked. He alleged the law and order situation in the state had touched its nadir and corruption had turned very alarming right since Nitish joined the Mahagathbandhan.
