Tyre dealer shot at Buxar

BUXAR: A tyre dealer was shot dead in Buxar town, triggering protests by locals who burned a police jeep, police said.
Unidentified gunmen shot dead Md Jahid Sah, 27, late on Friday night. Angry over the incident, locals collected on the road on Saturday and blocked Patna-Buxar national highway for several hours demanding immediate arrest of those involved in the incident, they said.
They also pelted stones and damaged windscreens of some vehicles. The mob also burned a police jeep at Naya Bhojpur police post.
