LED TVs to show govt events live

PATNA: The Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC) is to install high-definition (HD) LED TV at UdyogBhavan and Biscouman building to sell the government’s achievements and show live the state government functions and BiharDiwas celebrations.
“We are trying to follow the latestto attract tourists for information and promotion of state government’s policies, campaigns and schemes,” tourism minister Sunil Kumar Pintu told TOI.
“We are installing HD LED TV at Udyog Bhavan and Biscouman. These TV sets will show state government advertisements and telecast live the government functions organized across the city,” he said.
The screen at Udyog Bhavan will be of 12X8 inches while the one at Biscouman will be 12X18 inches. The BSTDC may also allow the private parties to display their advertisements on the big screen. But this is yet to be decided.
