Illicit liquor seized, 6 held

Chhapra: Police on Tuesday seized 3,067.56 litres of illicit liquor, along with two tractors, a four-wheeler, and six cellphones from Sonepur. Saran SSP, Kumar Ashish, said the police also nabbed six people involved in the illegal trade. The police registered a case in Sonepur PS in this regard.The arrested people were identified as Jitendra Kumar, a resident of Udeshipur under PS Ganaur, and Upendra Kumar, Pankaj Kumar, Prahlad Kumar, Harendra Ray, and Bittu Kumar, all residents of Sabalpur under Sonepur PS in Saran district.
