PATNA: Dedicated to centenary year of Bihar, the week-long Destination Bihar Expo-2011 celebrated the fifth day of the event as Tourism day for promotion of tourism and hospitality industry in the state.
Addressing a seminar on 'Prospect of development of tourism and hospitality industry in the state', tourism minister Sunil Kumar 'Pintu' suggested the representatives of local hotel owners to organize, jointly with BIA, an all-India conference of hotels and hospitality industry in the months of February-March, 2012, to promote tourism and hospitality industry in the state.

He assured government's support for such a conference.
Other participants at the seminar included the general manager of Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation, Shailendra Kumar, artiste Shankar Prasad and chairman of the tourism committee of BIA, Dr Ajay Kumar.
