HC dismisses plea of 'witness'

Patna: The Patna High Court on Friday dismissed the petition of one Awadhesh Kumar Singh challenging the order of a Patna trial court which disallowed him from being a witness of the seizure list prepared in a case related to a murder in which former JD(U) MP from Maharajganj Prabhunath Singh is an accused.
A single bench presided by Justice Abhijit Sinha dismissed the petition after advocate general P K Shahi submitted that arguments in that case concluded and the judgment was reserved on November 14, 2008.Awadhesh Singh filed the petition in the HC on November 20, Shahi submitted and added no seizure list was produced before the trial court by the prosecution.
