Patna: The Patna high court on Friday directed to end the acrimonious tussle between the Bihar Administrative Service Association (BASA) and senior IAS K K Pathak, and asked the both parties to hold an "amicable talks for resolving the issue". A single bench of Justice Purnendu Singh while hearing a writ petition filed by the BASA directed the writ petitioners to hold an amicable talk with senior IAS K K Pathak, in the presence and mediation of the chief secretary (CS) of the state.
On Friday, during the course of hearing, Pathak's counsel Naresh Dikshit entered his appearance and intervened into the matter. Before hearing over the impugned decision of the department, Justice Singh asked advocate Dikshit to talk to his client for participating in an amicable talk with the writ petitioners, if ushered by the court itself.
After a few minutes, Dikshit apprised the court about his client's nod for proposed talk for which, senior advocate for BASA, Yaduvansh Giri and state's counsel
Vikash Kumar also agreed.
