City boy tops in 4 states

Patna: The Gyan Niketan student, Vaibhav Niku, who has secured 95.4 per cent marks in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Class X examination, has topped the list of successful students of four states — Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Orissa, claimed the principal S K Mukherjee.

Patna: The Gyan Niketan student, Vaibhav Niku, who has secured 95.4 per cent marks in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in Class X examination, has topped the list of successful students of four states — Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Orissa, claimed the principal S K Mukherjee.
He is the son of Birendra Kumar Jha, a teacher of Maithili in B N College.

He has got 99 per cent marks in science subjects. Niku has also been selected in the “Olympiad on astronomy�.
Another student of the school, Prabhas Raghav, stood second in the school with 94 per cent. Eleven students of Gyan Niketan have got more than 90 per cent marks in aggregate and 70 students have got more than 80 per cent marks, the principal said.
