PATNA: The Bihar State Council of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on Tuesday organized a roadshow on Excon 2011, an international fair of construction equipment and construction technology, to be organized at Bangalore from November 23 to 27.
Addressing a sizable audience from the construction industry in the state, member, Steering Committee of Excon 2011, T R Bharthan said that around 200 foreign companies, besides the Indian companies dealing in construction equipment and technology, will participate in Excon 2011 which would be the biggest construction technology fair.
He appealed to the infrastructure development agencies, construction industry entrepreneurs and government agencies to participate in the fair. Former chairman of the Council Vijay Kochar said that the fair would be the largest event of South Asia attracting the overseas and domestic visitors. Others participating in the roadshow included Builders' Association of India, Bihar chapter, chairman Manikant, and CII's Prabhat Ranjan and Archan Deb.
