PATNA: The Patna region office of Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has cleared 33 applications seeking land to establish industrial units. BIADA executive director Bhogendra Lal said that 74 applications for land had been received by the office.
He further said that the project review committee, at its meeting, decided to allot a total of 10.83 acres at Maranga (Purnia), Barari (Bhagalpur), Katihar, Forbesganj (Araria) and other places to establish units related to food processing, print media, poultry feed, textile, detergent powder, among others.
He also said that the industrial units allotted land would invest Rs 41.35 crore, which would create job opportunities for hundreds of people.
