NOIDA: The Noida Authority will soon develop five new foot over-bridges (FOBs) to facilitate pedestrians’ crossing at busy locations. These FOBs will come up in commercial areas, near metro stations and residential sectors. This will also curb jaywalking and ensure safety of pedestrians.
The Authority has also floated five tenders to develop these FOBs under build-operate-transfer basis.
The contractors will develop the projects and generate revenue through advertisement. They will hand over the rights of the projects to the Authority after 10 years.
One of the bridges will connect the multi-level parking in Film City with business houses across the DND Flyway on MP 1 road. The second FOB will be developed near City Centre metro station.
The other FOBs will be developed on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway near Mahamaya Flyover, Dadri-Surajpur-Challera (DSC) road in Challera village and near Sector 121-122.
