KALYAN: Three employees of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation in Maharashtra have been booked for allegedly assaulting a vegetable vendor in Dombivli.
The video of assault has gone viral on social media in which the civic staff is seen assaulting the victim using bamboos.
Krishna Gupta, in his complaint to police, alleged that three persons from civic department of whom one is identified as Atul assaulted him for selling vegetables at cheaper rates.

Acting on Krishna's complaint, the local Manpada police have filed a non-cognisable offence against three people, including Atul under Section 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
The KDMC sources said that following the incident an inquiry has been initiated against staffs who hail from sanitation department of KDMC.
