: Railway police have arrested a 55-year-old man for allegedly stealing a laptop and mobile from a youth after giving him drug-laced coffee. Suresh Khanchandani
, a resident of Jaripatka
, has been remanded to three days in police custody. The police said Khanchandani and his two friends had offered drug-laced coffee to 21-year-old Praneet Bisen before stealing his laptop and cell phone from Shivnath Express.
Bisen had claimed in his police complaint that the three men has befriended him while he was waiting for the train to arrive at Nagpur railway station. One of them had forced him to drink a cup of coffee with them. Later, minutes after boarding the train, he felt sleepy. He woke up a few hours later to find his laptop and cell phone stolen.
Railway police had earlier registered a case against unidentified accused. During investigations, police nabbed Khanchandani from Nagpur railway station.
