Hindi Univ To Celebrate 29th Foundation Day From January 7

Wardha: Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University will celebrate its 29th foundation day from Jan 7 to 10 with a series of academic and cultural programmes, VC Kumud Sharma announced.Addressing a press conference, Sharma said formal foundation day programme will be held on Jan 8. Union minister for road transport & highways Nitin Gadkari will be chief guest, while former Union education minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank' will be guest of honour. Executive council member Surendra Dubey and senior journalist Anant Vijay Saraswat will be the special guests during the event.A national book fair will be held at Bodhisattva Babasaheb Ambedkar Samata Bhavan. It will be inaugurated on January 7 at 5 pm by writer Kshama Kaul. An international seminar on Unity in Indian Literature will be organised by Uttar Pradesh Hindi Sansthan, Lucknow, and the university from January 8 to January 10. A Mallakhamb performance will be held on January 9 at sports ground from 6 pm.
