NEW DELHI: At least two people were injured during the annual Makar Sankranti ritual involving a cattle run through a raging fire in Mandya, Karnataka, news agency PTI reported on Wednesday.
The injured have been taken to the hospital for medical attention.

The ritual involves haystacks being set on fire while cattle, including cows and bulls, are led by their owners to jump over the flames.
