MUMBAI: BMC has planned to install underground waste bins in hospital premises, aiming to facilitate convenient waste disposal.
In the initial phase, a total of 15 underground waste bins will be set up in four civic hospitals namely KEM,
Sion Hospital, Kasturba Hospital, and TB hospital at Sewri.
Deputy commissioner (solid waste management) Chanda Jadhav stated that the ground Penetrating Radar Survey (GPRS) has already been conducted for this purpose.
