MUMBAI: Two men were killed in separate instances near Bandra station on Monday within three hours of each other.
In the first case, a 25-year-old Uttar Pradesh native, Mohammad Farman Qureshi, was knocked down by an Up local between Khar and Bandra around 3.20pm. The GRP got in touch with Qureshi's friend who used to stay with him in Mumbai.
The victim's Surat-based relatives are on their way to Bandra to claim his body.

A Khar resident, Sumit Lokhande (31), was run over by a WR local between Khar and Bandra stations around 6.30pm. The victim's head was severed from his body in the mishap. Lokhande was a resident of Jawahar Nagar, Khar. His family was informed of his death by the railway cops.
Both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem. Cops have not ruled out the possibility of suicides.
