The Trident has not sent out official invites to celebrities but many are expected to show up to display their solidarity with the terror-hit hotel. Food critic Rashmi Uday Singh was one of those who turned up at Saturday's press conference at the hotel. The hotel is also organising a private multi-religious prayer ceremony on Sunday. People would be invited but the management refused to reveal details of who would be attending it.
Details of the reservations made at restaurants were also unavailable.
The restaurants that will be opening include Frangipani, India Jones, Verandah and bar Opium Den. "The response and show of solidarity by our guests have been overwhelming,'' Oberoi Hotels vice-president Devendra Bharma said.
