Gangster who fled, arrested

Sachin Khambe, gangster and former member of the Abu Salem gang, who fled from police custody on Monday by jumping from a moving train at Dadar railway station, was arrested by the city crime branch on Tuesday.

MUMBAI: Sachin Khambe, gangster and former member of the Abu Salem gang, who fled from police custody on Monday by jumping from a moving train at Dadar railway station, was arrested by the city crime branch on Tuesday.
Khambe and his associates—Sumit Vilas Changle (24) and Mahesh Mohan Bhogle (30)— were arrested in Ghatkopar. Cops recovered countrymade pistols, two knives and a car.
