Cops launch youth-centric website

MUMBAI: A youth-oriented website of the Mumbai police was launched on Saturday morning by commissioner D Sivanandan and sheriff Indu Shahani. With a fresh citrus look and an interactive design, the website, copconnect.in, carries news, an events calendar and gives police alerts and traffic updates. The website is intended to deal with issues such as drug and alcohol abuse among youths.It also features questionnaires wherein the young users can identify problem areas or symptoms. Counselling will also be provided.
