Bhai Jagtap acquitted in Covid case

Mumbai: Regional Congress Committee (MRCC) president Bhai Jagtap and 12 others were acquitted last week for violating Covid norms in May last year and raising slogans against the Central government at Cadbury Junction.
The court said a video- recording of the incident was not produced and proved by the prosecution. It said specific words used while raising the slogan against the Prime Minister were also not deposed by witnesses.
The court said this created doubts in the story of the prosecution. tnn
