MUMBAI: Two years after an aspiring actress was duped of Rs 15 lakh by a conwoman, she caught the accused in a Malad mall on Wednesday and hauled her to the BangurNagar police station. Anu Kashyap, the actress, said she was promised a spot in a TV commercial with film star Shah Rukh Khan by the accused, Vijal Razdaar, in 2013. Kashyap paid the fees demanded for the break, but the role never materialized.

Kashyap, a Kandivli resident, said Razdaar knocked out Rs 15 lakh from her for the role worth Rs 20 lakh and then stopped all communication.
On Wednesday, Kashyap spotted Razdaar in the food court of Inorbit mall.
Apolice officer said Razdaar was handed over to the DN Nagar police station, where Kashyap’s FIR was registered.
