MUMBAI: Over 150 activists from Maharashtra, including representatives from Parivartan (New Delhi), National Alliance People's Movement, Anna Hazare's Bhrashtachar Virodhi Andolan, Sri Sri
Ravi Shankar's Art of Living and Swami Ramdev's Swabhimaan Nyas, gathered on Tuesday to finalize the strategy they need to adopt for the implementation of the Jan Lokpal bill.
While Hazare plans to go on a hunger strike,other activists along with citizens from 33 districts of Maharashtra want toforgo their lunch during the first week of April.
The activists haverequested citizens to show their support by registering onindiaagainstcorruption.org or by sending an SMS. This process, which will takeplace at the ward and state levels before the next civic elections in Delhi andMumbai, is aimed at hitting the vote-bank of political parties.
