Shamli: A father and son were arrested when police raided an illegal firecracker factory in Butrada village, Shamli, on Sunday. A third suspect remains at large. A large quantity of firecrackers and explosives was seized, and a case was filed under Explosives Act.
Shamli SP, Ramsevak Gautam, said, "We arrested Mohammad Rizwan and his son Mohammad Farman for manufacturing firecrackers at home.

The third suspect, Mohammad Gulzama, escaped, and efforts are on to apprehend him."
Officials seized about 9,500 firecrackers and 46 kg of gunpowder, along with firecracker-making equipment.
