Bus overturns in dense fog in Bijnor, 38 injured

Bijnor: At least 38 people were injured after a bus carrying around 50 passengers, including children, returning from a wedding event overturned due to dense fog near Malan river on Kiratpur-Mandawar Road in Bijnor district late on Monday.Police said seven of the injured were shifted to district hospital, while the remaining ones received medical aid at a community health centre in Kiratpur. Members of the bride's family were travelling in the bus from the ceremony.As the bus reached near the river area, driver Mohd Ehsan lost control of the heavy vehicle due to poor visibility, and it veered off the road and overturned. Police initiated the rescue operation, and shifted the injured to hospital. All the injured are out of danger, as per the cops.
