Two-day Karnataka State 10th Diabetes Conference from September 6

MANGALORE: Fr Muller Medical College is organising a two-day Karnataka State 10th Diabetes Conference under the aegis of Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India, Karnataka chapter at the hospital here from September 6. B Ramanath Rai, DK district in-charge minister will be the chief guest. Dr K R Narasimha Setty, chairman, RSSDI, Karnataka chapter and director, Karnataka Institute of Dialectology, Bangalore will preside.
Around 80 scientific research papers will be presented during the conference. More than 20 national and international eminent faculty will deliver scientific lectures. Five prestigious orations will be delivered during the conference. Over 700 delegates are expected to attend the conference. Dr Muralidhar Rao from Gulbarga, and Dr Venkataramanappa from Bangalore will be honoured with life time achievement award at the event.
Other highlights of the conference are meet the professor session, panel discussion, post graduate quiz and poster contest for school going children, Dr Venkatesh B M, organising chairman of the conference stated.
