Electrician dies of electrocution

Mangaluru: In a tragic incident that occurred in Bantwal taluk, an electrician lost his life while on the job. The deceased is Devadas, 35, from Uli village. According to a complaint filed by his father, the accident took place on Thursday, while Devadas was working on wiring at a house in Urkunja, owned by Baby.While working near the main switch outside the house, he accidentally came into contact with a live wire, resulting in electrocution. He fell and sustained severe injuries. Despite being rushed to Bantwal Government Hospital for treatment, doctors declared him dead.A case has been registered at Punjalkatte police station.
