MR Vasudeva, former MIA director, is Sangeetha Parishath chief

MANGALORE: MR Vasudeva, immediate past director, Mangalore International Airport has been elected president of SangeethaParishath, Mangalore for a period of three-years. Other office bearers unanimously elected at annual general meeting are: G ManjunathBhat, vice-president, SubrahmanyaRao H, secretary, V Krishnamurthy, joint secretary, and Pradeep M V, treasurer, C R Ballal, outgoing president of the parishath said.
Tharanath, Ranganath A, Ramesh Rao, Thilakan, K Harish, Kumar Subrahmanya Bhat, Nagesh Rao, Vishalakshi, Sujatha Hegde, and Anjana have been elected as members of the executive committee. The parishath as part of its 20 year celebration has also decided to organise 20 musical recitals at Sangeethotsava festival, a nine-day event in the last week of November. The venue of the music festival will be decided at a later date.
