Tirunelveli: Major infrastructure projects like airport development, four-lane highways, and provision of free rice at ration shops were undertaken by Union govt for the state, said BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran in Tirunelveli on Sunday.
Chief minister M K Stalin ‘trembles in fear' at the mere mention of Delhi, he told reporters, noting that BJP reserves the right to hold its alliance talks anywhere, be it Bangalore or Delhi. He pointed out that formal alliance talks in Tamil Nadu were set to begin on Monday, yet members of the DMK alliance were already discussing BJP's moves before negotiations even concluded.
He said Delhi has only brought benefits to Tamil Nadu, citing the construction of four-lane highways, flyovers, and the development of Tuticorin and Trichy airports under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration. He said it is the central govt which provides free rice in ration shops.
