Union government should give martyr status to Bhagat Singh: Gurdeep Gosha

LUDHIANA: Youth Akali Dal led by district president Gurdeep Singh Gosha celebrated the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, on Saturday. A large number of party workers assembled in front of the statue of Bhagat Singh at Jagraon Bridge Chowk, Ludhiana, and paid tributes to the martyr. The Youth Akali Dal workers took pledge to follow the footsteps of Bhagat Singh.
District president Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that the Central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi should give martyr status to Bhagat Singh. Chandigarh Airport should also be renamed after Bhagat Singh and direct flights from Amritsar and Chandigarh Airport to America and Canada should be started.
Gurdeep Singh Gosha said that Bhagat Singh is an icon for youngsters and everyone should follow the footsteps of martyrs. Modi government should fulfill the long pending demand of giving a martyr status to Bhagat Singh.
