Ludhiana: A large number of students gathered and staged a demonstration at an educational institution in the city over suspected kidnapping and murder of two students in Manipur. They also organised a candle vigil and observed silence for two minutes.
A student who belongs to Imphal East, Manipur, said, “We want the culprits to be arrested as soon as possible and the government to take strict action against them."
While the students should be concentrating on their new session and preparing for their midterm examinations, they are worried about the what is happening in Manipur.

The Chief Minister of Manipur also expressed his commitment to finding the perpetrators.
