State govt shifts 15 IAS, 18 IPS officers

In another major administrative reshuffle, state government on Friday shifted 15 IAS officers while 11 PCS officers were given new postings after promotion into IAS cadre.

LUCKNOW: In another major administrative reshuffle, state government on Friday shifted 15 IAS officers while 11 PCS officers were given new postings after promotion into IAS cadre. Similarly, 18 IPS officers and eight PPS were also transferred.
The IAS officers transferred include district magistrate (DM) Gautam Budh Nagar MKS Sunderam, who has been made secretary in the public works department.

Special secretary rural development Anil Kumar Raj is new DM of Hathras. He has replaced Samyukta Sammadar who has been put on the waiting-list. Special secretary medical health and family welfare Chandrapal Singh will take charge of DM Ghazipur in place of Prabhu Narain Singh who has been put on the waiting list. Director panchayati raj Satyendra Singh is the new DM of Kaushambi while Pankaj Yadav, who was awaiting posting, has been sent to Ambedkarnagar as DM.
Government also shifted eight police officers in Lucknow. Ajay Kumar, ASP, Faizabad is new ASP Lucknow west while Habibul Hasan, ASP, Lucknow has been made ASP, trans-Gomti. Saumitra Yadav, ASP, Kheri has been shifted as ASP (rural) Lucknow. S Channappa, ASP, Gautam Budh Nagar has been shifted to Gorakhpur as superintendent of police (SP). Muniraj G, ASP Ghaziabad, has been posted in Shahjahanpur as SP rural. The state government has also cancelled transfer of Zaki Ahmad, deputy inspector general of police (DIG), Meerut division, to Gorakhpur as DIG and posted him DIG Police Training School, Meerut. tnn
