‘Lab on Wheels’ for children from Atal School

Lucknow: Class X students of Atal Residential School, Mohanlalganj on Friday learnt about various new technologies through the ‘Lab on Wheels’ bus.

Using various tools and equipments, students were given knowledge on basic electronics, programming, coding, Arduino-based projects, robot development -- automatic street lights, app-operable cars, traffic light systems, and 3D designing.

Students said that this was the first time that they saw a specialized bus where they gained insights into Artificial Brain technology and 3D machinery.

Another group of students said the bus showed them techniques of controlling a car using a mobile app, operating streetlights via sensors, and the workings of a traffic light system, that they learnt in classroom.

Students were also taught to create their own games through coding and to develop AI applications, and the process of building drones.

According to principal secretary, technical education, MKS Sundaram, the bus is stationed at APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University and was sent to Atal Residential School for exposure to students.
